Though, it was created with Social Workers in mind, Social Work Mate is not only for social services professionals…

ANYONE CAN JOIN! Anyone who needs to FIND HELP in their community or even wants to ADD AN ORGANIZATION to the map should feel free to do so. After all, the goal is to provide EASY ACCESS TO RESOURCES in the community for ANYONE WHO NEEDS IT.

Once you’re logged in, you can SUBMIT A LISTING, WRITE REVIEWS on companies and organizations in the directory, and broaden the reach of your organization by sharing it on SOCIAL MEDIA! 

UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION:

Unlike most static directories online or contained in a binder at your workplace that eventually become worthless, the DATA in Social Work Mate is MONITORED VERY CLOSELY and UPDATED REGULARLY. Information that is no longer relevant is removed and new information is readily accessible.

Most importantly, users are able to upload their own resources using the “Submit Org” icon. Who better to inform Social Workers and Social Service professionals or resources in the community than the organization’s leaders and/or consumers themselves?

GEOLOCATION CAPABILITIES

Social Work Mate is not limited to just a few cities or states. You can submit your organization and find resources for yourself or your clients ANYWHERE IN THE US by simply touching the “Near Me” Icon. Even get directions to an organization when you look it up.
