The U-Rock Network is a unique network of music supporters that know great rock music. WORD-dB is the Chicago affiliate where you will find great rock overlooked and long forgotten by marketing fads!! WORD-dB U-Rock Chicago is where you will find great New Rock and Roll from bands on the up and coming list. WORD-dB has no preference to style of rock, you will hear everything from metal, progressive, indie, punk, garage, revival, 50', 60's, 70's and styles not mentioned, Like we said if it Rocks, Then we play it.  WORD-dB is here to help the very bands we play in rotation. The Network sites are run by individuals who work together as affiliates with their own Callsign as assigned by the National Association of Digital Broadcasters. WORD-dB is the premier place to hear up and coming bands that can write a song or two and deserve exposure.   Urock Radio was started December 13, 1999 on Live365. Since then many changes have taken place in the Digital Broadcast field. Right now Urock Radio is one of the longest running stations as well as being Philadelphia's First Professional internet Rock Radio station and the First of it's kind Network for the 21st Century. Our playlist contains music from bands, songwriters that share an enthusiasm for Rock and Roll music.  Find the Urock Network on all the social networking websites promoting the cause.
